QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to lead test planning, automation scripting, and continuous quality validation across our client delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Perform comprehensive functional, regression, API, and cross-browser testing for each sprint release.
• Integrate automated test runs into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Conduct performance, load, and API stress testing using tools like JMeter or Postman.
• Collaborate with developers to investigate, reproduce, and resolve defects with clear reproduction steps.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3+ years of software testing experience with at least 2 years focused on test automation.
• Hands-on proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for test automation scripting.
• Strong experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and database validation.
• Familiarity with Agile development workflows, Jira, and Git version control.
• Excellent analytical thinking and clear technical reporting skills.
